Brayco 589 is designed for the protection of turboprop and turbojet engines. This anti-corrosion oil has limited use of up to 25 hours as an aircraft engine lubricant and can be used for both protection and final acceptance studies of aircraft engines requiring MIL-PRF-7808 oils. Since Brayco 589 is a synthetic ester-based fluid, it can adversely affect some paints and elastomers. Serious degradation of rubber parts, coatings, paints, and other organic materials can result from use of this product in systems designed for use with petroleum-based liquids.
